Yoga Retreat Classes

Vinyasa

Also known as “flow” yoga, Vinyasa yoga is an active, dynamic style of yoga that uses the breath to coordinate one’s movements smoothly from one posture to the next. Expect to create some inner heat and sweat.

Iyengar

A traditional form of yoga that focuses on precise alignment and longer holds in posture. Known for utilising a variety of props in class to make postures more accessible.

Restorative

A quiet and extremely relaxing style of yoga meant to nourish and rejuvenate body and mind. A static style of yoga with very little movement, supported by bolsters and blocks.

Ocean Flow

A smooth, flowing class that integrates breath with vinyasa sequences, balance, deep stretches and longer holds. Ocean flow will leave you calm and happy.

Dynamic Hatha

Combines the strength of held postures and the serenity of breath directed movement, resulting in deep, relieved relaxation.

Pranayama

Pranayama is the formal practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life source.

Aerial Yoga

Hanging safely upside-down laughing with some moves you didn’t even dream possible. Yoga with a twist, come and try.

Yin

A quiet, meditative yoga practice. Yin poses are all done on the floor and are held for longer periods of time to get into the deeper connective tissues.

Meditation

The practice of turning your attention away from distracting thoughts and focussing on the present moment. It can involve focussing on breath, bodily sensations or mantra.

SUP Yoga

A fun and challenging way to practice yoga, promoting balance, strength and awareness of weight and posture. An isometric workout that strengthens your core and brings a smile to your face.

Nicole has been teaching daily yoga classes with us for the past 4 years and enjoys educating others on how to apply yoga and Ayurvedic principles to create optimal health and wellbeing. Nicole also specialises in digestive wellness and believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the right environment to do so.

Lisa McKnight

Lisa brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her classes, having been a certified teacher since 2008. An Iyengar influenced teacher, her passion of yoga is fed watching her student’s minds and bodies change and become more open. Lisa’s dedication to her path of yoga has led her to teach in Nepal, India, Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Lia Gunawan

Lia started yoga as a way to recharge her mind while working a hectic desk job, before discovering it as an oasis to her life. Now a fully qualified instructor, Lia continues her learnings and is passionate about sharing it with others. Her warmth and acceptance energy will guide you to find your own style of personal well-being practice and create a journey you love to live.

Erin Kindt

RYT 200 / YIN 50

Erin is a passionate yoga instructor, teaching dynamic and flowing classes as well as deep, soulful Yin. She is also a life and performance coach whose purpose is to inspire other to live their best lives. With Erin, you’ll work through obstacles to overcome your fears and step into a life of infinite possibility.
